Avril Lavigne songs appear in Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland Soundtrack '

Avril Lavigne is going down the rabbit hole. The singer has officially landed a track called "Alice Underground" on the soundtrack to Tim Burton re-imagining upcoming "Alice in Wonderland," according to Variety. Some fan sites Lavigne reported that the track will be the first single from pop-punk princess, the fourth album to come, but there was no official confirmation. Lavigne joins a growing list of musicians to help on the soundtrack to the Johnny Depp-led adaptation of the classic Lewis Carroll, which already includes a connection between long-awaited tour mates Mark Hoppus former Blink-182 and Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz .

"We did the song" Alice in Wonderland ", [and] could do more, depending on when [Mark] goes with Blink. [It] seems anything but Blink and Fall Out Boy," Wentz told MTV News recently. "Mark understands the song a completely different level. It 'wonderful to be able to sit in a room with him and watch him work out the melody."

The soundtrack will also include a yet unnamed song of the new All Time Low, which was specially written for the film, even if the texts are not necessarily refer to themes of the film. "The song definitely references ideas of the film and the story, but I would not say it's obvious," said the singer Alex Gaskarth. "But this, certainly."

Soundtrack was written by a long-term partner Burton, Danny Elfman ("Edward Scissorhands," "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory"). No other information about the tracklist for the album was available at press time. "Alice in Wonderland" hits theaters March 5.
